The latest versions of Outlook, Apple Mail, and Samsung Mail support OAuth.
Email clients that use OAuth keep your Gmail account more secure. We recommend you use Gmail only with third-party email clients that support OAuth. OAuth lets apps and websites share your Google account data without requiring your username or password. This article has steps for admins and users to set up Gmail with another mail client. To accept an invitation change your status in the Calendar app using the My Status pulldown menu or accept in Mail.Your users might want to send and receive mail from other email clients, for example Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail. To send an invitation, create a new calendar event and add invitees by entering their email addresses. You can accept and send invitations via Exchange Online using the app. It generally takes 10-15 minutes for existing meetings in your Exchange calendar to appear in the Calendar app and may trigger some unexpected invitations or reminders which you can ignore.ġ4. You don't need to accept this in order to synchronise with Exchange.ġ3. On first run the app will ask whether you want to make Calendar your default calendar application. Typically you would then leave it open in the dock so that it remains synchronised with Exchange.ġ2. To activate the Calendar application for the first time, locate it in Applications and double-click to run it.

Folder contents will typically not download until you open a folder and open one of the messages it contains.ġ1.
